Message: THANKS GIVING

THANKS GIVING

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (I Thes 5:17)

Warm greetings are to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who is the alpha omega the beginning and the end. Halleluiah! Let Gracious Lord infuse new blessings through message section.

In The above said scripture Lord expects His children should always thank Him in all things;

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.(Heb 13:15)

There was an upright God feared perfect and eschewed evil great man in the land of Uz named as JOB. He was blessed by Lord like anything so that Job was the greatest of all the men of the east. But one fine day he loosed all his riches and possession and subsequently all his ten blessed children. In that unbearable agony and loss which cannot be described in terms of words do you know what Job did?

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. (Job 1:20, 21, 22)

Yes brothers and sisters it is quite nature that we can praise and thank Lord while we are blessed and everything go in smooth manner and positive direction. But when things are moving in opposite direction problems and agony strikes in our life we are not in a position to do the same thing. But where as Lord expects us that we should thank and praise Him even in those adverse circumstances. Halleluiah!

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:7)
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17)
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; (Colossians 4:2)

What is the spiritual blessings and secret behind praising and thanksgiving? Let me quote three most important scripture.

ABUNDANCY

For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God ;( 11Cor 9:12)

Yes thanksgiving and praising brings abundance. Halleluiah!

INCREASE GRACE.

For all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. ;( 11Cor 4:15)

Yes thanksgiving and praising brings abundance of Grace. Halleluiah!

INFUSE COURAGE.

And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.(Acts 28:15)

Yes thanksgiving and praising infuse courage. Halleluiah!

Brothers and sisters as we do blessings through prayer we do also receive blessings through praising and thanksgivings. Halleluiah!

To illustrate this Lord's word is true even today let me quote Lord's blessing that happened in the life of Pastor Benny Hinn.

Lord granted Church ministry to Pastor Benny Hinn. Some how in the initial days of his ministry, he himself and church got trapped in debt. Many time he longed to be out of debt for he knew that he could do more for the work of the Lord if he was debt free. He began to ask the Lord in prayer to bring him out of debt. Each Sunday morning as he prepared to receive Lord's tithes and offerings in his church it was customary for him to take five or ten minutes and teach the people what the Bible says about finance. He used to write on one side of offering cover like this, "Lord, please get me out of debt, in Jesus name. Amen." Week after week he did the same thing but nothing happened.

One day as he was writing those words on the back of his envelop Lord asked him, "Do you really believe what you are writing? Startled, he paused for a moment, he glance down at the words and responded, "Yes Lord", I believe. You can bring me out of debt". "Then begin to Thank Me", the Lord said. He asked, but how can I thank You when I am still in debt? The Lord responded "Begin to Thank Me now".

Then he wrote on the back of the envelop "Thank You, Lord for bringing me out of debt, Amen." and he shouted the same words while he placed his envelop in the offering bucket. It was being continued months together, but nothing happened. A few months later, he and his wife Suzanne were visited to join a man and his wife for dinner. After they enjoyed a lovely time of fellowship around the table, the man began "Pastor Benny, the Lord has been dealing with my wife and me for several months about doing something and reached into his pocket from which he produced two envelops. One is for you and Suzanne and the other is for the Church and placed both envelops in his hand. The gentle man stepped forward again and said; Open it, Pastor Benny".

Reluctantly at the insistence of gentle man he opened that envelops and pulled out a check leaf. As he looked down at the check, he blinked his eyes and looked again, he couldn't believe his eyes, and asked; this is a check for a substantial amount. What is this for? The man took a step forward and said, "God spoke my wife and me and told us to pay off your debts. Is that enough"? At the same time, Benny Hinn and Suzanne were shocked, thrilled and were crying. Is that enough, pastor Benny again he asked?

Then the man held another envelop toward Benny Hinn and said this is for the church. With shaking and excitement he got the second envelop opened and reached the contents .It was a check for more than the first check which he could hardly believe. In a moments time both Benny Hinn and church was out of debt, and the church was blessed. Halleluiah!

Dear brothers and sisters those who gone through this message you may also have ever so many needs which are not yet received irrespective of your prayers and fasting. Why can't you thank and praise God right now? And receive miracles. Halleluiah!
