Message: Heavenly Joy

 

                          

HEAVENLY JOY

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Rom 14:17)

Welcome dear one in the Holy name of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You have entered into this Lord's word section not accidentally. Holy Lord loves you. He cares you. He has kept great joy for you in Heaven. That’s why Holy Spirit brought you in this section. Halleluiah!  Indeed you are the blessed one according to Mathew 16:17.

 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.                         
                                                                                            (Math 16:17)

Dear one, the above said scripture Rom 14:17 says about heaven and its life in heaven.  Indeed every person who is born in flesh and blood in this world whether he is a sinner, wicked, thief, murderer, accused, literate, illiterate, educated, not educated, rich, poor or saint would like to go to heaven only. Halleluiah!  No one, in fact, opt to go to hell.

But the major and controversial question among human kind is who will go to heaven?  Where is heaven?  What is the way for heaven?  What should I do if I want to go or enter into heaven?  These questions are tormenting the souls of human beings and even many eminent persons wise and religious figures are not exempted.  But none bring a lasting solution or a convicting answer except our Lord Jesus Christ who alone descended from and ascended to heaven Halleluiah!

    And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven. (John3:13)

The most precious touching spiritual truth, treasure and secret is found here. while Almighty Lord was in the Heaven as Lord the father, the same God Simultaneously was in this world as Lord Jesus being called as Son of God (Luke1:35), Son of Man (John3:13), Only begotten Son (John3:16,1John4:9) son of the Most High (Luk1:32), Beloved Son (Math3:16,Mark1:11 Luke3:22) Son of David etc.  That is why with all authority Jesus spoke as in John 3:13.

And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. (Luke 24:51)

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God; let us hold fast [our] profession. (Heb4:14)

In nut shell let me share the spiritual secret and truth to you.  Any person of any back ground and nationality with any religious following ,whoever  gives his heart and life to Jesus by placing his faith upon Jesus, graciously he / she is granted this marvelous eternal blessing and hope ;instantaneously and automatically he has been allotted heavenly  citizenship (Phil 3:20) and when his / her allotted life span is completed in this world with Jesus, he / she will enter into heaven where our eternal Father, Word (Jesus), Holy  Spirit are  dwelling (I John 5:7) and he \ she will inherit  his \ her mansion       (John 14:2,3) and eternal house not being made up of hand is also being kept  in heaven (II Cor 5:1). Halleluiah!

This heavenly hope in this world and life in heaven is nothing but only joy, peace and righteousness (Rom 14:17) where Lord's children will be live that of angels. Halleluiah!

    And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Rev21:4)

 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fullness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore. (Ps 16:11)

 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. (Mathew 22:30)

Let me quote a beautiful testimony which could expand your faith.

Years ago in U.S.A there lived a terrible drug addicted woman called Velma Barfield who poisoned four people including her own mother in cold blood.  She was sentenced to death and lodged in prison nearly six years, near Raleigh, North Carolina.  A sister called Anne, the daughter of great world renounced Evangelist, Dr. Billy Graham met her in prison, shared Lord Jesus' gospel and prayed with her and as a result Velma turned in faith to Christ for forgiveness and become a vibrant, committed Christian after her arrest. Her sins, she firmly believed, were completely forgiven by God.  She did not take what she had done lightly, she had committed horrible crimes and she knows it.  Nor did she take Gods forgiveness lightly for it had cost Christ, His life on the Cross.  Yet through that death, she knows God had demonstrated His love for sinners - even for wretched sinner like herself.

"If I had the choice of living free on the outside (of prison) without my Lord or living on death row with Him".  She told repeatedly "I would choose death row"

Just hours before her execution by injection Dr.Billy Graham through phone spoke "Velma, you are going to go to your home. Tomorrow night you will be in the arms of Jesus".  "Praise the Lord", she replied with confidence in her voice.

       A month later, after the execution of Velma, Dr. Billy Graham and Anne went to the prison, where Velma was held in maximum security.  There the warden who witnessed the last minute life of Velma Barfield spoke to Dr. Billy Graham like this,

"On the night of her execution, she (Velma) was the happiest, the most radiant human being I ever met".

What was the secret behind Velma's joy even at the point of her execution?  Oh! Her hope of entering into heaven and her longing to see Jesus face to face! Halleluiah!

  And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. (John 16:22)

Dear beloved one, through Jesus Velma Barfield entered in heaven.  Even before she entered into heaven, if she could able to be radiant because of heavenly joy then, just imagine, what would be the joy when she met Jesus in heaven by seeing Jesus and heavenly life! Beyond description and expression! Halleluiah!

           Dear one if Jesus could able to accommodate a person like Velma into this heavenly joy and in His Kingdom, why can't He grant the same right now to you!

Open your heart and accept Jesus right now!

  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Rev 3:20)
