JESUS AND REST

Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
We have given the hand [to] the Egyptians, [and to] the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
Our fathers have sinned, [and are] not; and we have borne their iniquities.
(Lament 5:5-7)
Warm greetings are to you, in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let Holy Spirit place all His eternal blessings hidden in His Holy Scripture in you through this simple message section. Halleluiah!
Dear one, in the above said scripture; we read the lamentations of Israelites, who laments "Oh! Lord we have no rest". Who are these Israelites?

For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure. (Ps 135:4)

Judah was his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion. (Ps 114:2)

Yes, Almighty Lord who created the entire universe as well as both seen and unseen creatures and things has chosen the Israelites as His own, While the Most High Lord in the days of old, divided the nation's inheritance and separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel, Israelites have become His people and Jacob has become His inheritance (Deut 32:8, 9). That's why with authority Moses the great prophet of Most High narrated this relationship in Deut 32:18.

Of the Rock [that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. (Deut 32:18)

But the same chosen people are now under lamentation. Why? What is the etiology behind their cry? Why they have loosed their rest? Have they have loosed their rest? The secret is found in Lamentation 5:7, i.e. SIN. Here you see, another secret, their fathers have sinned and gone away from this world, but their children had to bear the yoke of their sin, there by loosed their rest.

In this context, Holy Spirit teaches a warning lesson to us, i.e. every sin what we commit today against Lord and man with boldness (having known that the sinful act what we are (I) going to commit) will have a severe consequence both in this word as well as eternally. Whoever commits sin the following will happen i.e. the initial  acts of all those sinful deeds are always seem to be giving immediate carnal pleasure (outward man) which will be likened by our flesh and at the same time soul and spirit  (inward man) will grieve which always like to have fellowship with Jesus. Halleluiah!

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God….. (Rom 8:7)

      The first thing what we lose in our inward man is rest (peace) in the initial days many use to ignore this and as we continue in sinful life rest will be totally taken away from our soul without our knowledge and in the later days whatever   we offer the soul the soul will neither accept it nor enjoy rest. That's why though Israelites are the chosen one of Lord when they are their father's. Committed sin, their children has to experience of  its feed back.
At this moment please brothers and sisters you stop one second and search your soul, are you not weeping internally? Are your inward man is agonizing for their rest? Are your inward man is shedding tears for this rest? Yes. The good and happiest news to you now is we have Lord Jesus Christ who feels your pulse is alive for ever.  Do you know what this Gracious Lord speaks unto you now? Read below!

Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.    (Math 11:28, 29)

      Dear one I don't know you physically. But under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit who sees your need, I say to you Lord Jesus Christ is standing near to you with as nourishing mother with embracing hands so as to give His rest unto you. Halleluiah!
